Traveling to and from the Airport:
If you plan to arrive in your own vehicle or hired car, you can access the airport by the following motorways: A22 (Via do Infante) and E.N. 125. International motorways are the N-431 (Huelva, Spain) / A22 (Via do Infante, Portugal).
Bus:
From the airport terminal leave buses to Faro and other destinations along the Algarve. The buses leaving to Faro city are the numbers 14 and 16, the timetables can be found near the information desk at the meeting point. Taxi:
Taxis are available outside the terminal building, next to the Arrivals.
Train:

Faro Airport Terminal Information:
The Faro Airport is equipped with lifts and sanitary installations for physically handicapped persons. Passengers requiring wheelchairs or assistance should inform their airline when booking their flight.
Faro Airport Facilities:
There are banks in both the Arrivals and Departures terminals. A bureau de change and post office are located in the Arrivals Terminal. Internet access points are available throughout the airport. As well there are several restaurants, cafés and bars, duty-free (for non-EU travelers) and regular shops offering a wide variety of goods.

There is an information service desk at the meeting point in the terminal building. Passengers can contact the information service (Telephone: (0289) 800 617) for flight details, disabled facilities, opening hours and public transport timetables. Cultural and tourist information is also available on arrival from the ICEP desk. The assistance for passengers and the Information Office are opened from 6.00 to 24:00 hours.
Car Parking:
The Car Parks P1and P3 are short-term parking spaces located in the Departures area and in the Arrivals area. Car park P2 is a long-term parking and is located behind car parks P1 and P3.

Parque Natural de Ría Formosa
The natural Park of the Ría Formosa is a large and extensive branch of sand of more than 50 kilometres (31 miles) were we can find beaches, abundant fauna, dunes and a very special flora; the physiognomy of the area changes in function of its tides which make it an ideal resting place for the thousands of migratory birds that pass through there every year. The nearly 20.000 hectares of this natural park of high ecological value are distributed between the municipalities of Faro, Tavira and Olhao.
